House Fire Causes $250,000 in Damages

A woman at the home was hospitalized for unrelated symptoms.

A fire ripped through a Maybrid Circle home on Monday causing a reported $250,000 in damages, according to the Fremont Argus.

Fire crews saw smoke from the nearby fire station No. 10 on Deep Creek Road and responded to the scene at around 4:30 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, they saw flames on the side of the home, in the attic and spreading to a neighboring home, the Argus reports.

Firefighters prevented the fire from doing substantial damage to the home next door and were able to knock out the fire by 5:17 p.m.

A woman who was inside the home at the time of the fire requested medical attention for unrelated issues and was transported to a local hospital, according to the Argus.

Fire officials told the Argus that the fire caused $200,000 in damage to the home and $50,000 in damage to items inside the home.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
