Motorcyclist Killed In Sunol Crash Identified
The crash happened near the CHP truck scales last week.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — A motorcyclist who died last week from injuries in a solo crash on Interstate Highway 680 near the community of Sunol was identified as 59-year-old Michael Jankowsky, according to the Alameda County Coroner's Bureau.
The San Jose resident was driving north Highway 680 when he crashed just before 10 a.m. last Wednesday near the CHP truck scales. He was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley where he died from his
injuries.
At this time, officers are unsure what caused the motorcycle crash, according to California Highway Patrol officer Tyler Hahn. They are still waiting on a final autopsy report from the coroner's bureau, he said.
