Fremont Police advise residents to expect delays and road closures on Friday. The Niles Merchants Association will host the Niles Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Parade, which begins at 6 p.m. Organizers expect about 15,000 people to attend the event. Niles Blvd and the streets between J Street and Hillview Drive will be closed between 4 and 9 p.m.
