Nominations Being Accepted for Annual Alameda County Hall of Fame
Program seeks outstanding women in 12 categories.

Nominations are currently underway for the 23rd Alameda County Women’s Hall of Fame, which honors extraordinary local women and celebrates their contributions to the community.
The Hall of Fame profiles women in 12 categories: Business and Professions; Community Service; Culture and Art; Environment; Health; Justice; Non-Traditional Careers; Science, Technology, Engineering; Sports and Athletics; and Philanthropy and Youth.
Honorees will be celebrated at the 23rd Annual Alameda County Women’s Hall of Fame luncheon and awards ceremony in Oakland in March 2016. The event is co-hosted by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors and the Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women.
