Police believe the driver was heading southbound on Paseo Padre Parkway through the intersection. The bicyclist may have collided with the driver’s side of the vehicle, at either the front or rear tire area.

“The driver may not even be aware of [the] collision,” traffic officer Kelly Snow said.

Fremont police are hoping that the driver will come forward and give a statement.

Any residents who may have witnessed the incident are also urged to come forward.
