Fremont Mayor Lily Mei Holds Commanding Lead: Election Results

All precincts have been counted, but more mail-in ballots are expected to arrive in the coming days.

FREMONT, CA — The election night count is complete in Alameda County and the Fremont Mayor's race shows a commanding lead for incumbent Mayor Lily Mei.

While all ballots received by Tuesday and those votes cast on Tuesday have been counted, more ballots are expected to arrive by mail in the coming days.

More than 934,000 people are registered to vote here in Alameda County, according to the latest voter registration numbers from Secretary of State Alex Padilla's office.

Alameda County had a surplus of volunteers for this election. "We had 4,800 people volunteer for the four days; so we have plenty of volunteers," said Tim Dupuis, Alameda County's registrar of voters.
