Rep. Ro Khanna is a radical fraud. Ritesh Tandon for congress
Here's two reasons why Ro is a horrible candidate.

I am a concerned Newark/Fremont resident that is asking you to honestly consider who your 17th Congressional should be. It is always natural to select the currently serving person on the ballot. I voted for Ro Khanna last time. Why not, I thought to myself right? Ro is turning out to be too extreme and I'll give you some examples:
S.3201 - extending the federal ban of fentanyl and related compounds. Lawmakers were concerned the ban was going to end soon without an extension. Banning is important in terms of testing of fentanyl and full prosecution of dealers. How do I know? Because I am at the front lines. I work as Criminalist in Alameda County and one of my many duties here involves analyzing controlled substances. We handle SFPD drug backlog and the opiate crisis is exploding there and here in our county! Overdoses, rampant violence associated with dealers and users, drugged driving, theft and the dangers to the community and first responders. Sounds like a no brainer but not to Ro. Combatting this begins with common-sense legislation. He hasn’t even responded to my email demanding to know why he voted “no” on federal extension.

H.R. 5383 – Let me start by saying my parents were immigrants and eventually became US citizens. I was born here but I have a great sense of pride for my Latino and American heritage. I, like everyone else, understand we need immigration reform and that there are rules and laws. Laws should not be put in place to circumvent other laws. That is what this bill does. This is insanity. So you mean to tell us law-abiding citizens that if an immigrant breaks the law, and we are talking about serious things such as robbery, fraud, or child sexual abuse, that people should still not be deported? Because they are marginalized or disadvantaged? Or because they are trans? A criminal is a criminal and if deemed dangerous, remove them from the county. Immigrants are here to better themselves and their family. They are not here to rob you or me, or to harm us, or break serious laws. Apparently Ro doesn’t care about your common-sense approach to immigration reform. He is one of the backers of this insane bill.

Ro is a radical fraud. Of course I have emailed Ro and I’ve gotten no response, yet. Maybe he’ll get back to me. Ritesh Tandon sounds like a better candidate, more moderate than radical.
