Rock Hounds: Free Event For Kids Saturday
"Bay Area Rocks for Kids" will be led by a geologist at the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge.

FREMONT, CA — If you have a young rock hound in your family, here's a great free event this Saturday at the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge.
Geologist Dr. Malcolm Pringle will teach kids about the rocks they see at the refuge, the rocks that make up the East Bay hills, and more.
It starts at 10 a.m. It's recommended that you wear close-toed shoes.
