Seeing Smoke In Moraga?
Fire training is planned 3 days this week in different locations.

LAMORINDA, CA —If you are seeing smoke in the Moraga area this week, chances are that it's caused by a live fire exercise.
The training is taking place at the John Muir Land Trust’s Painted Rock property on Monday and Thursday, and at Campolindo Ridge on Tuesday.
Each training session is planned from 10a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents in the Rheem Valley, Carrol Ranch, Bella Vista and Buckingham Drive neighborhoods may see or smell smoke. Closing exterior doors and windows during the day will help to keep smoke from entering homes.
Signs cautioning drivers and bicycles will be posted along Moraga Road and Rheem Boulevard.

The Moraga-Orinda Fire District is in touch with Fire Weather Forecasters at the National Weather Service and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to decide if the burns will go on as scheduled, or be scrapped.
