Sprouts & Shutters: Menchie's Frozen Yogurt Coming Soon

Frozen sweets are coming to the Mowry East Shopping Plaza soon.

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt is opening a location in Fremont between Starbucks and Semo Sushi off Mowry Avenue, according to the menchies.com.

The Southern California-based froyo chain was established in 2007 and serves an array of frozen yogurt that includes gluten-free, vegan and no high fructose corn syrup products, according to the company website.

Construction at the location, which was once occupied by an AT&T store, is ongoing and Menchie's Fremont wrote a note on its Facebook page that the eatery's targeted opening date is mid- to late-May.
