APPLEBEE'S: Kids eat free on Thursday, July 4 at Applebee's restaurants owned and operated by Apple American Group. Families who dine-in can receive two free kids’ meals with the purchase of each adult entrée. Participating locations are in Alameda, Antioch, Auburn, Cameron Park, Citrus Heights, Dublin, Elk Grove, Fairfield, Fremont, Hayward, Lodi, Napa, Petaluma, Pinole, Rocklin, Rohnert Park, Sacramento, San Rafael, Santa Rosa, Stockton, Vacaville, Vallejo, Walnut Creek, Windsor, Woodland and Yuba City. ASTRO DOUGHNUTS & FRIED CHICKEN: Both the downtown Los Angeles and Santa Monica stores will carry the signature Fourth of July Doughnut, a red-piped, vanilla-glaze doughnut topped with blueberries, and Fourth of July Picnic Basket ($55) with fried chicken, cheddar biscuits, slaw, and assorted doughnuts.
