A 16-year-old boy was arrested last week after a brawl broke out at Fremont's Washington High School, a police spokeswoman said today.
The fight was reported at 3:10 p.m. Thursday on the Eggers Drive side of the high school, located at 38442 Fremont Blvd., Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques said.
Officers responded to the school and found a group of juveniles involved a fight. One teenage victim had been knocked out and was on the ground, and was just regaining consciousness when police arrived, Bosques said.
The teen was taken to a hospital. Three others were injured in the fight.
No weapons were used in the brawl, she said.
Police were able to detain the alleged "main aggressor" nearby, at Country Drive and Fremont Boulevard.
The 16-year-old suspect was booked into Alameda County Juvenile Hall on two battery charges, Bosques said.
