Three Injured in Industrial Accident at Tesla Factory
The accident involved pressurized equipment.

Updated: 3:13 p.m.
Three people were injured in an industrial accident at the Tesla Motors plant in Fremont Wednesday, according to the Fremont Fire Department.
Firefighters received a call about the incident shortly before noon, fire officials said.
According to the Fremont Fire Department, the incident involved pressurized equipment. There was no fire or explosion.
"There was a failure in a low pressure aluminum casting press," Tesla officials said in a statement. "We are making sure that they receive the best possible care."
The injured individuals were transported to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center to be treated for burns, officials said.
Wednesday's accident is the latest in a wave bad news for the Palo Alto-based electric car company.
In October, a viral video of one of Tesla's award-winning Model S catching fire after striking metal debris caused the company's rocketing stock to drop. The company's stock fell once again last week after revealing its third-quarter earnings. While profitable, it wasn't enough for Wall Street investors, according to GigaOm.
Tesla's all-electric luxury vehicles are manufactured at their Fremont plant, located at 45500 Fremont Blvd., off of Interstate Highway 880.
