Two Robbed at Gunpoint In Separate Incidents Tuesday Night

The same suspects may have been responsible for both crimes.

Two men were robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents in Fremont Tuesday night. 

According to the Fremont Police Department, the first robbery occurred on Howe Court at about 10:30 p.m.

The victim told police that he was walking near Howe Court and Roberts Avenue when he was approached by four suspects in a late model black sedan who asked him for directions. As the victim began to respond, a suspect pulled out a gun. The suspects then ordered him to empty his pockets.

The armed suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult about 21 or 22 years old, about 5-foot-8 with a medium build and a long brown ponytail. He was wearing a black shirt and dark jeans and was carrying a black semi-automatic handgun. He was sitting in the front passenger seat of the suspect vehicle.

A second suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, also about 21 or 22 years old, about 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He, too, was wearing a black shirt and dark jeans, according to Fremont police.

Detailed descriptions of the other two suspects were not given but they are also believed to be Hispanic male adults.

About an hour after the Howe Court robbery was reported, another victim reported being robbed in the area of Guardino Drive and Walnut Avenue.

The suspects were described identically to those in the previous robbery, police said.
