Update: Alleged Knife-Yielding Suspect in Officer Involved Shooting in Intensive Care
54-year-old man allegedly threatened his wife and another woman with a knife.

An man who allegedly threatened two women with a knife and was shot by Fremont police
Monday evening underwent surgery for potentially life-threatening injuries. He remained in intensive care as of Tuesday morning, according to a police spokeswoman.
The 54-year-old man was shot by police officers following a confrontation in his front yard in the 4700 block of Baffin Avenue early Monday evening, according to police spokeswoman Officer Geneva Bosques.
Police received reports that the man had threatened his wife and a second woman who lives with the couple with a knife. Both women fled the home and called police, saying the man was still on the home’s front porch
carrying the knife. He was outside with the knife when the officers arrived and after
a brief confrontation, two officers shot him. A third officer running up to the home witnessed the shooting, Bosques said.
