FREMONT, CA – A drive-up food bank program will take place in Fremont starting Friday and will continue through the end of August.
The program is being presented through the Alameda County Community Food Bank, Tri-City Volunteers and Wells Fargo Drive-Up Food Bank. It will take place on eight consecutive weeks through Aug. 28.
People in Fremont can drive up to the food bank, remain in their vehicles and pop open their trunks so volunteers can place groceries directly into their vehicles.

“No one should have to choose between feeding their family or other basic necessities,” said Erica Trejo, SVP of Philanthropy at Wells Fargo, in a prepared statement. “Wells Fargo has a long-standing commitment to help our local communities—especially during challenging times. We are glad to bring nourishment for many families and hope this modest gesture lifts spirits and reminds people that they are not alone.”
