Bass Pro Shops is hosting a "Great Pumpkin Halloween Event" Oct. 27-31 with a free 4×6 photo with the Peanuts Gang, free Halloween pin on a lanyard to the first 100 kids to have a photo taken, free crafts and a costume parade. Carrows Restaurants is offering a free kids' meal on Halloween for children in costume with a purchase of an adult entree. Check with your local Carrows to see whether it is participating this Halloween. Primarily in the Los Angles area, there are also Carrows eateries in Santa Rosa, Clovis and El Centro. Chick-fil-A – Kids in costume get a free treat when you dine-in Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Check with your local Chick-fil-A to be sure they are participating. Company web site here.

Dunkin’ Donuts – No freebies, but the company has unrolled such limited-edition Halloween-themed specialties as the Spider Donut, Purple Potion and Vampire’s Delight, which could be perfect for office or home parties! See more here.
