Woman Assaulted in Central Park Bathroom by Three Females

Investigators said the assault appears to have been an isolated and targeted attack.

Three female suspects assaulted a 31-year-old woman in Fremont's Central Park on Tuesday morning, police said.

Officers responded to a hospital where the female victim had arrived after being beaten in a bathroom in Central Park at about 9:30 a.m., police said.

The victim was taking a walk near Lake Elizabeth in Central Park when she went into a bathroom and was confronted by three females, police said.

The suspects proceeded to hit the victim, causing injury to her entire body, according to police.

Investigators said the assault appears to have been an isolated and targeted attack.

Police have not released suspect descriptions or information about a possible motive. The assault remains under investigation.
