Child Rape Suspect Has Fresno Ties

Manuel Ricardo Ramirez Siguenza is being sought for a crime in the Bay Area, but has family and other connections in the Fresno area.

FRESNO, CA — A man accused of raping a child under the age of 14 has family and other connections in the Fresno area who may be able to help investigators arrest the suspect.

Union City Police are asking for the public's help in finding Manuel Ricardo Ramirez Siguenza, 46, who has been under investigation since March 23. His photo has just been released as police seek tips that will lead to his capture.

Police have not released specifics about his suspected victim or crime, but say that Ramirez Siguenza is wanted on the following charges:

Ramirez Siguenza is five feet eight inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.

He has family and other connections in the San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno, and the Southern California areas.
