CSUF: Flag Tribute Honors Former Vice President Walter Mondale

Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset on the date of the interment, which has not yet been announced.

Per a White House proclamation signed by President Joseph R. Biden Jr. on April 20, Fresno State’s national and state flags will fly at half-staff to honor former Vice President Walter Mondale, who died on April 18, at the age of 93. Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset on the date of the interment, which has not yet been announced. Mondale served the people of Minnesota as their attorney general from 1960-64, as a U.S. Senator from 1964-76, as Vice President of the United States from 1977-81 under President Jimmy Carter, and as the United States Ambassador to Japan from 1993-96.
