Here are the details from the original report on the crime:

On June 29 at approximately 7:06 p.m. two men approached a 32-year-old Gilroy woman in the parking lot of the shopping center located at 950 Renz Ln. The victim was near her vehicle and with her children.

One man displayed a revolver and demanded the victim’s purse and car keys. The other man stood close by acting as a lookout.

Both suspects fled west from the scene with the victim’s purse. A witness gave chase but lost visual contact with both suspects a short time after.

Multiple officers arrived to the vicinity of the reported crime scene within minutes and conducted a search for the suspects. Despite their efforts and other investigative techniques, the suspects were not located.

No injuries were reported during this robbery.

The suspects are described as white men, about six feet tall, 20 or 21-years-old and 160 pounds. The man with the gun has short cropped light colored-hair, blue eyes, an unknown tattoo in the inner right forearm, wearing a black tank top and carrying an unknown make and model revolver. The other man has short blond hair and was wearing a white tank top.
