Caltrain Strikes, Kills Person On Morgan Hill Tracks
The fatality that occurred at the San Pedro crossing Thursday night stopped all train traffic. No one on board was hurt.
MORGAN HILL, CA — A person was fatally hit by a Caltrain car Thursday night on the tracks at the San Pedro Avenue crossing in Morgan Hill, rail officials said,
Caltrain reported the southbound train No. 268 struck the person at 7:09 p.m., stopping all trains at the time. Seventy-two passengers onboard were not hurt.
Joining the Santa Clara Coroner on the scene was Valley Transportation Authority that provided a bus transport connection for passengers of trains No. 268 and 274. to the Blossom Hill Station in San Jose.
