GILROY DOWNTOWN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION PRESENTS DOWNTOWN IS FOR LOVERS

GILROY, CA – The Gilroy Downtown Business Association is proud to present the second annual “Downtown is for Lovers” essay contest and promotion.

Calling all lovers! Are you the most romantic couple in Gilroy? If you answered yes, tell us why! In 500 words or less, share your love story, or love story that is inspiring to you. If your story is chosen as the Most Romantic, you'll win a gift basket donated by some of our Downtown Gilroy businesses, with items including gift cards, services and products. Participants may submit their love story via email to melanie@downtowngilroy.com or via mail to the Downtown is for Lovers Promotion, PO Box 2310, Gilroy, CA 95021. Winners will be notified February 12 and prize basket will be available to pick-up on February 14.

Downtown businesses are also running specials for the month of February celebrating love. Rack cards highlighting all the offers and specials Downtown business owners are offering will be distributed throughout the community beginning February 1. Participating businesses include: Garlic City Mercantile, Old City Hall, Los Pericos, itty bitty Beauty Boutique, Amoretto Boutique, Shag Beauty Bar, Studio Three, Station 55, FACT Fitness, Limelight Actors Theater, Leedo Art and Frame, Robot Shark, BookBuyers, Café 152 Bread Co., Kutz and Colors, Predators Archery, Frank’s Barber Shop, Gilroy Vacuum Center and Nimble Thimble.
