Earthquake Felt In Gilroy, Watsonville Early Monday

AROMAS, CA— A magnitude 3.3 earthquake struck San Benito County less than 10 miles from Gilroy early Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported at 2:58 a.m. A magnitude 1.6 aftershock was recorded in the same area at 4:54 a.m.
The small quake was felt in Gilroy, Salinas, Watsonville and as far away as San Jose. No injuries were reported as a result of Monday's quake.
