Farmers Market Adds Grass-Fed Beef and Other Treats

Last weekend, Leadership Gilroy had a near the Gilroy Demonstration Garden.

One of the day’s last events was a handoff to the Demonstration Garden’s Judy Hess and Catalina Ventura. Ventura's job is to keep the market going in the coming weeks, and she’s bringing in a few more goodies for this Sunday.

Visit the market at 7341 Monterey St. Sunday, from 10 a.m–2 p.m.

New additions:

• Hog Farm—offering the precious remaining asparagus of the season

• Green Hearts Family Farm—grass-fed beef, fresh produce and the possibility of eggs in the future

• Frog Hollow—specialists in an array of stone fruits

• Mitra’s Bakery—delicious baked goods from Morgan Hill 

• Also jewely by LuAnne Murphy, handmade birdhouses by Tim O’Brient and adorable children’s dresses and aprons from C & M aprons
