A third day of residential street closures will affect an area near Eighth Street and Orchard Drive on Wednesday while crews repair worn road surfaces, according to material from Gilroy’s city Web site.
The closures, scheduled for 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., will occur on and surrounding Yorktown, Plymouth and Greenwich Drives.
Residents are asked to find alternate places to park during the work and to avoid driving past any barriers. The chip seal treatment can both damage cars and receive damage if driven on before completion, according to the city.
