Gilroy COVID-19 Vaccination Event Set For Friday Canceled
City officials didn't state a reason for the cancellation at the Gardner South County Health Center for Friday.

GILROY, CA — A COVID-19 vaccination event scheduled for Friday at the Gardner South County Health Center in Gilroy has been canceled, the city announced on Wednesday.
City officials didn't state a reason for the cancellation.
The site was supposed to be one of four vaccine sites open this week in Gilroy. Those eligible to receive the vaccine can still sign up for a slot at the following locations:

- Gilroy Senior Center, 7371 Hanna Street (walk-ins available)
- Valley Health Center Gilroy, 7475 Camino Arroyo
- Gilroy High School, 750 W 10th St
Vaccines are currently available for Santa Clara County residents age 65 and older and frontline healthcare workers. The next phase of residents will include educators, childcare workers, emergency responders and workers in food and agriculture, who will become eligible on Sunday.
