Gilroy Police Search For Suspect In Armed Robbery

Police said the suspect pointed a gun at an employee on Monday afternoon and fled with approximately $1,000.

GILROY, CA — Gilroy police are searching for the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at a local business on Monday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, police said the suspect pointed a gun at an employee and fled with approximately $1,000. Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. He was wearing a black and white flannel, blue jeans and a red bandana over his face.

Police said the suspect fled westbound on First Street from the 1200 block of the street.
