Gilroy Shootings Probed
One of the victims was taken to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries, police said. The other victim is expected to survive.
GILROY, CA — Two people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds shortly after shots were heard fired late Sunday night, Gilroy police said.
Officers heard shots fired in the area of 8th and Hanna streets at around 11:50 p.m., about the same time several callers reported hearing gunshots in the same area.
Officers found evidence of a shooting in the area, but nobody involved in the shooting was located according to police.

Shortly afterward, two men arrived the emergency room of a local hospital with gunshot wounds, police said.

The incident is being actively investigated by the Gilroy Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team (ACT).
