Huge Variety Available in Farmers Market This Week
There's plenty of fresh produce, and local, fresh cosmetics round out a big selection.

Gilroy’s farmers market has been ramping up its selection since its kickoff two months ago, and Market Coordinator Catalina Ventura said that now is a great time to pay it a visit.
You can tell the season is in full force when you walk through the Market the last couple of weeks. The smells of basil, tomatoes, peppers, berries and peaches all blending together and seemingly saying "eat us while you can". The summer season offers a bountiful variety of produce that simply aren't available year round when you eat local. And our Market has it all!
- Fresh strawberries, blackberries and raspberries from Vasquez Farms
- “Every green under the sun” from Heirloom Organics
- Patty pan squash, artichokes and other organics from Nunez Organic Farm
- Gorgeous romaine lettuce, herbs and lemongrass From Terra Boa
- Locally dried fruit like apricots, pears, nectarines, plumns and persimmons from Van Dyke Ranch
- Delicious coffee and baked goods from Mitra’s bakery
- Cosmetic collections from Heaven Earth and Body, bringing body soaps and lip balms, and Purely Pleasures, with a collection of colors for mineral-based eye shadows, scrubs and other delights
- Custom Aprons from C&M Aprons, including aprons for “little chefs”
- Artisan bird houses from Tim O’Brient, which are beautiful enough to be featured inside or out. Ventura said that she’s been hoping to get one for herself since meeting Tim in Jue.
- More live music this week from Butch Oyao and his jazz quartet.
