One Dead In Big-Rig Crash On Highway 25 South Of Gilroy
Highway 25 is shut down between Bolsa Road and Bloomfield Avenue Tuesday morning as police investigate a collision between two big-rigs.
GILROY, CA — One person died in a collision between two big-rigs on state Highway 25 south of Gilroy on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported shortly after 7:35 a.m. on Highway 25 near Bolsa Road just north of the county line with San Benito County.
One big-rig ended up on its side and oil and fuel spilled along about 200 feet of the roadway, according to the CHP.

Highway 25 remains closed between Bolsa Road and Bloomfield Avenue and the CHP does not have an estimate for when the roadway will reopen.
