Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Gilroy Suffers Major Injuries
Collision occurred between Santa Teresa Boulevard and Burchell Road, near the Gilroy Golf Course and the Gilroy Gardens theme park.
GILROY, CA — A pedestrian suffered major injuries Thursday after being struck by a vehicle in Gilroy, police said.
The crash led to the closure Highway 152 in both directions between Burchell Road and Santa Teresa Blvd. overnight and into Friday morning. Police announced the reopening of Highway 152 at around 7:40 a.m.
Police did not release any details about the wreck, only saying that the collision happened between Santa Teresa Boulevard and Burchell Road, near the Gilroy Golf Course and the Gilroy Gardens theme park.
