Police Blotter: $3K Diamond Ring Stolen in Car Break-In

Monday, Sept. 30
Recovered Vehicle: A Honda Accord reported stolen in San Jose was found on Forest Street.

Car Break-in: A GPS was stolen from a car parked at the outlet stores. 

Assault: There was a stabbing on Mantelli Drive around 4:15 p.m.

Burglary: The backdoor of an Eigleberry Street home was kicked in but nothing was taken.

Car Break-in: A tablet was stolen from a car parked behind Denny's on San Ysidro Avenue.

Sunday, Sept. 29
Car Burglary: Two cars parked on Monterey Street were burglarized overnight. Purses were stolen from both. 

DUI: A drunken driving crash happened on Hirasaki Lane and Longmeadow Avenue just before 3 a.m.

Theft: A woman's ex-boyfriend broke into her house and stole video games. He was in violation of a restraining order.

Car Burglary: A $3,000 diamond ring was stolen from a car parked on Monterey Street around 10:30 a.m.

Saturday, Sept. 28
DUI and Weapons: A 39-year-old man stopped for drunken driving reportedly had a loaded gun next to the driver's seat. He was arrested on Fourth Street and Miller Avenue around 1 a.m.

Car Burglary: A thief stole three sets of keys and insurance information from an SUV on Camino Arroyo. 

Burglary: A house cleaner stole a tablet from a home on Isabella Way.

Domestic Violence: A man pushed his ex-girlfriend and broke her cell phone because he was upset she was dating someone new. It happened on Walnut Lane around 4:20 p.m. The man, age 29, fled when police arrived and is now wanted.

Drugs: A 26-year-old woman was arrested for possessing methamphetamine on Monterey Street around 2:30 p.m.

Theft: A motorist pumped gas at a station on Monterey Street and left without paying. 

Assault: A person was struck in the face on Arroyo Circle at 10:45 p.m.
