Police Blotter: Woman Egged in Front of Home By Passing Car

Gilroy Police blotter items from Sunday through Tuesday.

Tuesday

12:57 p.m. There was a vehicle collision at the intersection of Leavesley Road and Forest Street. 

1:05 a.m. A suspect was observed colliding into a parked vehicle and fleeing the scene at Church Street and Welburn Ave. A traffic enforcement was attempted and the first suspect led officers on a vehicle pursuit. The first suspect ended the pursuit when she collided into two parked vehicles, a mailbox, and a tree.

Monday

11:15 p.m. A suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana less than an ounce and resisting and delaying a police officer on Murray Ave and Taft Court.

9:39 p.m. An unknown suspect in a silver Honda sedan threw eggs at the victim, striking her in the neck and side. Eggs also struck her vehicle, which was parked in front of her residence.

3 p.m. A dog was locked inside the vehicle for over one and a half hours.

11:06 a.m. An arrestee was taken into custody for possession of stolen knives. He was later released and placed on hold after he stated he wanted to harm himself.

Sunday

5 p.m. Vehicle windows were smashed out by an unknown suspect on E Eighth Street.

1:55 p.m. An unknown suspect cut a pad lock off a shed and stole gardening equipment on Carmel Street.
