Residents are asked to find alternatives for parking.

Workers will close a series of streets in the southwest part of Gilroy over the next three days as part of a chip seal road maintenance project, according to material posted on the city Web site.

The road resurfacing involves many neighborhood streets, and residents are asked to plan alternate parking during the closure. Driving around barriers and onto the site can damage both the newly restored roads and the car, according to the city.Â
Victoria will receive an overhaul on Tuesday, along with two streets near Orchard Drive and Plymouth Drive. Yorktown drive and Plymouth, along with many surrounding streets, are schedule for work on the third day.
