Small Earthquake Near Gilroy Sunday Night

GILROY - No damage has been reported after a preliminary 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck Sunday evening near Gilroy, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, Gilroy police and the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office.
The quake was reported at 7:09 p.m. six miles east southeast of Gilroy in Santa Clara County.
Most of the reports of shaking came from Gilroy, San Juan Bautista and Hollister.
