Twelve Arrested For Marijuana Grow In Morgan Hill
Santa Clara Sheriff's deputies also seized 21 firearms at the scene when serving a search warrant at Dougherty and Miramonte avenues.
MORGAN HILL, CA -- Deputies detained 12 people, seized 21 guns and were working late this afternoon to recover thousands of marijuana plants grown illegally in unincorporated Santa Clara County, according to sheriff's officials.
"We thank everyone for their patience during the all day operation," the sheriff's office posted on Twitter.
The operation began this morning when deputies executed a search warrant at Dougherty and Miramonte avenues near Morgan Hill. Officials did not provide any more information, including whether
any of the people detained are facing arrest.
