Two Juveniles Arrested In Gilroy Homicide Of 21-Year-Old: Police
The boys, ages 15 and 16, were charged with homicide after search warrants were served in Gilroy, San Martin and Morgan Hill on Tuesday.
GILROY, CA — Two juvenile males were arrested Tuesday in connection with the homicide of 21-year-old Robert Marks in Gilroy in January.
The two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were arrested on Tuesday after several law enforcement departments in Santa Clara County served multiple search warrants in Gilroy, San Martin and Morgan Hill, according to a news release by the Gilroy Police Department. Two firearms and ammunition were seized as a result of the search warrants, police said.
The boys were charged with homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide and participation in a criminal street gang.

Marks, a Gilroy resident, died from injuries suffered in a Jan. 2 shooting at around 9 p.m. in the area of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Mantelli Drive.
Marks attended local schools and worked for CalTrain. Police said his killing was random and unprovoked.
