
Cars hit four people in Gilroy on Monday, causing a series of minor injuries, said Gilroy Firefighter-Paramedic, Heinz Maibaum.
“It’s a lot for one day, but thank God they were all minor,” he said.

A call reporting the second incident, a driver who accidentally hit a fellow customer at the Costco gas station, 7251 Camino Arroyo, came in at 3:12 p.m., said Maibaum. The third, at 5:41, involved a low-speed collision with a pedestrian in the parking lot.
Authorities transported the victims to a local hospital, he said, and care at a trauma center was not required.

Maibaum said that, during the bustle of activity that comes with the summer, drivers and pedestrians should be extra careful.
