VTA Offers Free Gilroy Bus Routes To COVID-19 Vaccination Sites

GILROY, CA — The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is offering free bus rides around Gilroy and the rest of Santa Clara County to COVID-19 vaccination sites.

In Gilroy, these include the following routes that include stops at vaccine locations:

• Bus 68 to Gardner South County Health Center
• Bus 86 to Gilroy High School
• Bus 85 to Gilroy Senior Center
• Bus 12 to Morgan Hill Community Center
• Bus 18 to Valley Health Center — Gilroy

Currently, VTA is not collecting fares and mandating rear-door boarding in order to reduce customer-operator interactions.
