Coroner IDs Glendora Man Found On Foothill Freeway

GLENDORA, CA — A Glendora man was discovered, dead, inside of his vehicle in Azusa, Thursday, California Highway Patrol reported. On Friday, authorities identified him as James Hershey, 67, of Glendora.

Hershey was found dead about 1:30 p.m. Thursday inside of a car that was not involved in a crash, CHP said. The vehicle was located on the eastbound side of the freeway at Citrus Avenue, according to the coroner's office and the California Highway Patrol.

An autopsy was pending to determine his cause of death. The vehicle was not involved in a crash, the CHP reported.
