Glendora Forecast Calls For Rainy Christmas Week
It's frightful across the southland, but a slight break on Christmas Eve for last-minute shoppers! Rain will be delightful on Christmas day!

GLENDORA, CA — Rain was in the forecast for all of San Gabriel Valley all day on Monday, with a bit of reprieve on Christmas Eve, the National Weather Service says. Though the days will remain at or under 60 degrees, it's perfect holiday weather for those who like to cozy up by the fire.
According to the Weather Channel, a flood advisory for the majority of Los Angeles County was cancelled at 9:45 a.m.
Mountains could receive up to 1 1/2 inches of rain with 2-6 inches of snow from 5,000 to 7,000 foot elevations and 6-12 inches above 7,000 feet.

Temperatures will peak in the upper 50s to low 60s throughout the Southland Monday, according to forecasters.
A cold air mass is expected to move over the area Wednesday leading to a colder rain storm and lower snow level, she said.

There is a chance that rain will begin Wednesday morning, but it is more likely to start Wednesday afternoon and continue into Thursday, the National Weather Service spokesperson advised.

The snow level could drop to 4,000 feet or lower from this storm and accumulations of rain and snow could be similar to the current storm.
