Glendora Library’s Battle Of The Books To Be A Literary War
The program is sponsored by the Glendora Public Library Friends Foundation and the Glendora Rotary Club.
GLENDORA, CA — The Glendora Public Library is bringing back its Battle of the Books event this September for the city’s youths in 6th through 12th grades.
The in-person event involves teams of three reading three different books together and memorizing as many facts as possible before participating in a trivia competition in front of a live audience. The event is scheduled for Sept. 30 at 6 p.m, according to a statement from the library.
Registration is currently open for the event and a maximum of 15 teams will be allowed to participate. Books will be provided to each team for free.

The books being used in the event are “The Blackthorn Key” by Kevin Sands, “Death on the River of Doubt” by Samantha Seiple and “Framed” by James Ponti.
