Man Identified In Fatal Car Crash On 210 Freeway In Glendora

The 74-year-old from Upland was travelling westbound on the 210 Freeway near Bonnie Cove Avenue when his car rolled down an embankment.

GLENDORA, CA — Authorities have identified the 74-year-old man who died in a single-car crash on Interstate 210 in Glendora Thursday.

Andre Lacroix, of Upland, was behind the wheel of a 2007 Nissan Murano that was travelling westbound on the 210 Freeway near Bonnie Cove Avenue when the car crashed into a guardrail and rolled down the side of an embankment, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office. An official cause of death has not yet been determined.

Paramedics attempted to perform CPR on Lacroix but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drugs or alcohol are not considered factors in the crash, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Chen. There’s no indication Lacroix was driving recklessly at the time of the crash, he added.

Anyone with information regarding the crash was asked to call the CHP's Baldwin Park station at 626-338-1164 and ask for Officer Ray.
