Next Movie in the Park in Glendora is 'Karate Kid'

The next Summer Movies in the Park is Karate Kid on Wednesday. The classic flick, released in 1984, features Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita and Elisabeth Shue.

IMBD provided this synopsis: A handyman/martial arts master agrees to teach a bullied boy karate and shows him that there is more to the martial art than fighting.

The city urges residents to come early and bring a picnic dinner! Seating is on the grass, so bring a blanket or beach chair.

Movie showings will begin Wednesday evenings at sundown.
