Road Closures Hit Angeles National Forest For Memorial Day

GLENDORA, CA — Revelers for the long holiday weekend hoping to head up to the Angeles National Forest will have to change their plans if they intended to use Glendora Mountain Road.

Both the roadway and Glendora Ridge Road will be closed to vehicle traffic now until Tuesday around 10 a.m., the U.S. Forest Service said. The closures are part of an interagency enforcement effort for Memorial Day weekend with local police departments.

Despite the closures to vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians will still be allowed on the roads, the forest service said.
