City Facilities:

  • City Hall, the City Hall Annex, and Ted Adcock Community Center will be closed for the holidays starting on Thursday, December 24, 2020, and reopening on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Garbage/Recycling Collection:

  • There will be no collection services on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2020 or New Year’s Day, Friday, January 1, 2021. 
  • If your collection day falls on or after each holiday, your service will be delayed by one day. Set your carts out by 6 am on the day of your collection. Your regular collection service schedule will resume the week of January 4, 2021. There are no changes to customers with Monday or Tuesday collection days during the holidays.
  • There is no change to the street sweeping schedule

Holiday tree collection/recycling:

  • Holiday tree collection will occur on your collection day from December 26, 2020 through January 15, 2021.
  • Before placing trees out for recycling, remember to remove stands, lights, tinsel, ornaments and other decorations; cut trees into maximum 6-foot lengths; put trees at the curb, next to your compost cart (flocked trees accepted but cannot be recycled). 
  • After January 15, trees must be cut to fit completely inside your compost cart

Inspections

Inspections for Building, Public Works, and Code Enforcement will not be performed from December 24 2020 through January 3, 2021. If you need an emergency inspection you can contact 4Leaf, a company the City contracts with for engineering and consulting services, at 925-681-8842.
