DUI Suspected In Rollover Coastside Crash

PACIFICA, CA — A driver who crashed into a parked car and rolled his vehicle onto its roof Saturday evening was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, Pacifica police said.

Police responded at 8:15 p.m. to the rollover crash at Arguello Boulevard and Peralta Road.The driver, 18-year-old Daly City resident Daniel Cuculista, was alone in the vehicle and uninjured, according to police, who said he "displayed objective symptoms of intoxication."

A field investigation confirmed that assessment, police said, and Cuculista was taken to the San Mateo County Jail for booking after being assessed at an area hospital.
