1) Received an After Action Report on the PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff (Administration)

2) Recognized Thomas Freedman’s Eagle Scout Project – Sandbag Filling Station (Public Works)

3) Accepted the warrants list for the month of September 2019 (Finance)

4) Authorized the Mayor to sign and submit a letter of response, as amended, to the July 29, 2019 Grand Jury Report titled “Soaring City Pension Costs—Follow-up on Grand Jury Report of 2017-2018” (Administration)

5) Authorized the Mayor to sign and submit a letter of response to the August 12, 2019 Grand Jury Report titled “Electric Vehicle Adoption in the Cities and County of San Mateo" (City Clerk)

6) Considered $300,000 funding request (to be taken from the Affordable Housing Fund) from Abundant Grace for development of a Workforce Development Center at 515 Kelly Avenue and authorized the City Manager to initiate negotiations on a funding or loan agreement for the requested amount contingent on Abundant Grace receiving all necessary permits (Administration)

7) Received an End-of-Session Update on Legislation and Grants (City Clerk)

8) Received a presentation and provided guidance for completion and adoption of Affordable Housing Fund Guidelines (Community Development)

9) Accepted the annual report from Mark Thomas & Company, Inc. on sewer collections systems cleaning oversight, the Fats, Oils and Greases (FOG) inspection program and related work (Public Works)
