Half Moon Bay Memorial Day Weekend Forecast: Warming Trend Coming

HALF MOON BAY, CA — Though Friday was predicted to be "unseasonably cool" with scattered showers, Peninsula residents and visitors can expect a warming trend to kick in this holiday weekend, forecasters said. High pressure is expected to build in the region, leading to warmer temperatures on Sunday through Tuesday especially.

A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58. South southwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

A 20 percent chance of showers before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. South southwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming west northwest after midnight.

Saturday
Partly sunny, with a high near 58. West northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 49. West wind 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 61. West southwest wind 7 to 9 mph.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.
